4: four, quatro, arba, char.

Four.

It's a pretty important number today. Not only is it the number of months that I will be living abroad, but it is also the number of weeks until I leave to go abroad. The last few weeks have been full of preparations for my trip, including gathering all the necessary documents for my all-important student visa. I know that soon it'll be time to leave. I'm still scared yet excited. I have no idea what I'm in fore, but that's okay. It's what I live for. The unexpected never fails to amuse me. As of right now in my life, everything is unknown to me. Who will I spend the rest of my life with? Will I even find the right guy to marry? What will my career ultimately be? What is going to happen during this next four weeks? What will happen in the following four months after that? I have absolutely no clue. It's a little exciting.

Besides that big part of my life right now (aka getting ready for my trip), my life has been consumed with many other things...

1. My internship has been amazing. I've learned so much and I love everyone I work with. It's safe to say that there's never a dull day at the office. I'm always busy which is great because I absolutely dread when there's nothing to do and I'm literally just sitting there (which thankfully never happens here.) Who knows... maybe I'll ultimately end up in PR.

2. I've been spending a lot of time with my family. With my trip coming up, I know that I'm going to miss everyone so much. I started working at my aunt's office part-time just to spend more time with her and my brother. It's been fun. I'm so blessed to have the family that I have. I wouldn't change anything about them. I'm also blessed to be gaining new additions to my family - my future-sister-in-law's family. They are such a fun bunch. I love spending time with them and really appreciate having them in my life, especially the kids, all 4 of them. :]

3. My friends have been amazing. I know that I can depend on them for anything. Each of them has been a blessing in their own way in my life.

I'm not really sure what else to say, and I'm 99.9% sure that no one reads this... yet. I'll post the link one day, and then I'm sure people will read it. I fully intend on updating the blog while I'm gone. It'll be great to look back on and remember everything from those four months.

Till next time.

2011: new year, new me.

So, I realize I haven't really posted in a while... well, a long while. A few things have gone on in these past months. It's been a whirlwind.

1. I "graduated" from UCLA. I only put it in quotes because I technically have a quarter left still, which leads me onto my second big thing...

2. I am going to finish my last quarter in ROME. Yup. Rome as in Rome, Italy. Yeah. Pret-ty excited, yet scared out of my mind about not knowing Italian. I'm sure I'll manage one way or another. Hey, at least I'm sticking to my new year's resolutions.

3. Before I go to Rome, I'm going to visit my family in Israel. You have no idea how excited I am about this. I miss them so much and I am so freakin' excited to see them. Oh, by the way, in case you were wondering I leave on Aug. 21 to Israel and will be there until Aug. 30 which I will then fly to Rome. I'll be home December 23. Yup, 4 months. I know. Crazy.

4. I now have an official soon-to-be sister-in-law. They got engaged May 13, and I am so happy to have been a part of the planning and executing of it. I'm also open for engagement-consulting. Haha.

5. My aunt (aka second mom) is preggers with a baby girl who'll be named Ava. I can't wait to see her. I'll only have a few days to spend time with her before I leave for Israel.

These past few months have been amazing and I feel like this past year in general has just been a year of growth for me. Without a doubt one of the best years of my life, and I can't wait for what the next 6 months have in store for me.

Till next time. Ciao!
